Telehealth statewide
LCSWs, LPCCs, LMHCs, and a board-certified PMHNP serving clients across New Mexico.
A genuinely safe, knowledgeable space for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families.
Centrally located in Albuquerque. Telehealth available to any client in New Mexico.
We respond promptly. No long waitlists, no unanswered requests.
Our therapists work with a wide range of experiences and concerns. If you’re not sure whether what you’re going through “counts” — it does.
Persistent worry, panic, overwhelm, and the kind of stress that follows you everywhere you go. Whether it’s generalized anxiety, health anxiety, or social anxiety, we help you understand what’s driving it — and build tools that actually work in daily life.
Depression isn’t just sadness — it’s the exhaustion, the numbness, the sense that things will never feel different. We meet you in the middle of it, not to rush you through it, but to help you find your footing again and reconnect with what matters.
Trauma reshapes the way we see ourselves and the world — and you don’t have to have flashbacks to be dealing with it. Our therapists are trained in trauma-focused approaches that help you process what happened, reduce its hold on your present, and rebuild a sense of safety.
Navigating identity, coming out, family rejection, relationship dynamics, or the cumulative weight of living in a world that isn’t always affirming — our therapists provide knowledgeable, compassionate support for LGBTQ+ clients of all ages.
Grief doesn’t follow a schedule, and it doesn’t only come from death. Life transitions, relationship endings, and loss of any kind deserve real support — not just time.
New chapters, major losses, big decisions, and the quiet internal work of building confidence. You don’t need a diagnosis to deserve support.
When your reactions feel bigger than the moment — or when you’ve simply given too much for too long — we help you reconnect with yourself and build sustainable patterns.
Communication breakdown, recurring conflict, and disconnection can wear even strong relationships down. Individual therapy can help you better understand your own patterns and needs — in any kind of relationship.
A structured, goal-oriented approach that helps you identify the thought patterns driving difficult emotions and behaviors — and develop practical tools to shift them. One of the most well-researched approaches in therapy.
Builds core skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Particularly effective for clients who experience intense emotions or who feel caught in cycles they can’t get out of.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a specialized, research-backed treatment for trauma and PTSD. Rather than requiring you to retell painful events in detail, EMDR helps the brain process stuck memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge over time.
Not a single technique, but a lens that shapes everything we do. It means we understand how trauma influences behavior, responses, and relationships — and we never push clients to move faster than they’re ready to.
You are the expert on your own life. This approach provides a non-judgmental, empathetic space where insight and change emerge from your own capacity — not a script we’re running.
Effective therapy keeps the focus on what’s working alongside what’s hard. You already carry resilience, insight, and capability. We help you access it and build on it.
We offer a range of counseling services for individuals — in person at our Albuquerque office or via secure telehealth throughout New Mexico.
Personalized Support
Individual counseling is one-on-one therapy between a client and a licensed therapist, focused on your specific goals and concerns.
A space that’s truly yours. One-on-one counseling for adults and teens ages 14 and older — whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or a major life transition. In person in Albuquerque or via telehealth anywhere in New Mexico.
Regain Control & Find Peace
Anxiety counseling uses evidence-based techniques — including CBT and mindfulness — to help clients understand, manage, and reduce anxiety symptoms.
Overthinking, racing thoughts, and constant worry don’t have to run your life. We help you understand what’s driving your anxiety and build tools that actually create calm — not just manage symptoms.
Reconnect with Hope
Depression counseling helps clients identify and address the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns that contribute to persistent sadness, low energy, and disconnection.
You are not alone, and you don’t have to carry this weight forever. We’ll work together toward bringing more energy, clarity, and purpose back into your daily life.
Let Go & Move Forward
Trauma counseling is specialized therapy designed to help clients process traumatic experiences and reduce their ongoing impact on daily life, relationships, and wellbeing.
Your past doesn’t have to dictate your future. We help you process trauma in a way that feels safe, supported, and empowering — at a pace that’s right for you.
Heal from Trauma & Find Freedom
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy recognized by the WHO and APA for treating trauma and PTSD by helping the brain reprocess distressing memories.
Trauma shouldn’t define you. EMDR is a research-backed therapy that helps you process painful memories and move forward — without having to relive every detail of what happened.
A Safe Space for You
LGBTQ+ affirming therapy is provided by therapists trained to understand and validate the unique mental health challenges faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals.
A space where you don’t have to explain or justify who you are. Our therapists provide knowledgeable, affirming counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families navigating identity, relationships, and the unique challenges of living as your full self.

Find the Right Balance
Medication management is the evaluation, prescribing, and ongoing monitoring of psychiatric medications by a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP), coordinated alongside therapy for integrated care.
Sometimes therapy alone isn’t enough. Our board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) provides thorough medication evaluation and ongoing management — integrated with your therapy so your care works together, not in silos.
We’re centrally located in Albuquerque, making us accessible to clients across the metro area — including the South Valley, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, and surrounding communities. In-person sessions are available for all services.

At Reclaiming Wellness, therapy is an active, collaborative process. We ask the questions that open things up. We offer perspective when you’re too close to see clearly. We help you connect what happened, how you adapted, and what’s possible now. You’re not here to be analyzed — you’re here to be understood, and then to move.
You are not broken. You don’t need to be fixed. What you might need is a skilled, caring person in your corner — someone who helps you access the resilience you already carry and build on it in a way that lasts.
This is your work. We’re just here to make sure you don’t have to do it alone.
